Nova's Passion: Ball

Nova has a sixth sense for tennis balls. More than once, she’s popped out of a hiking trail with a long-forgotten ball snug in her mouth she sniffed out herself. Whether playing fetch or sneaking one away for a secret game, tennis balls are high on the list of her favorite things. But Nova’s heart is big enough for multiple loves in her life, and Mom ranks #1!

A PNW Dog in Heart & Spirit

Life during the pandemic felt isolating, and Nova’s mom longed for a furry companion to bring joy and purpose into her days. New to dog ownership, Mom carefully chose a breeder that prioritized temperament and personality. While Nova is originally from Portland, OR, Mom lived in New Hampshire at the time, so together, they’ve made multiple cross-country trips. We’re happy they’ve settled here in North Seattle, just a few hours north of Nova’s birthplace.

The Perfect Adventure Buddy

Nova is more than just a dog, she’s the ultimate companion for the outdoors. Her mom loves running, mountain biking, hiking, and snow adventures, and Nova is always right there by her side. Friends, human and dog alike, enjoy spending time with Nova. She charms them with her adorable personality and the silliest “old man” noises when she is happy!

Need for Speed!

Don’t let her small, wiggly frame fool you! Nova is fast! She can rip down mountain bike trails topping 25 mph, chase soccer balls at full sprint, and dominate agility courses like a pro. Agile, energetic, and fearless, Nova is proof that big personalities and power come in petite packages.

Working with Rex & Roxy has been a dream for Nova’s mom. Knowing Nova is well cared for allows her to focus on her busy schedule without stress, confident that her best friend is having the best day possible with a squad that is always happy to be Nova’s hype team!
