Client of the Month: Enzo

Enzo's enthusiasm for exploration is outmatched only by his love for a snooze in the sunshine. But his favorite part of the day is when a Rex & Roxy team member shows up to take him for a walk!

Tiny Pup, Big Personality

Enzo is a foster fail originating from San Antonio, Texas. Thanks to Heart of the Underdog Rescue, he made his way all the way to Washington to meet his new Mom and went from street dog to pampered pup!

Number 1 Foodie

Enzo knows exactly what time breakfast is served and won't let anyone forget it. He makes sure to let his people know he's ready to chow down at least a half hour early every morning with happy zoomies and excited tippy taps of anticipation. He also has a surprising taste for all kinds of fruits and veggies including arugula, raspberries, and especially apples!

Adventure Dog

Enzo accompanies his mom on all kinds of wonderful excursions. He is an experienced backpacker, hammock camper, kayaker, and horseback rider. He is always up for learning new skills and loves exploring the outdoors no matter the conditions. Despite his small stature, he has a seemingly endless supply of energy and will happily hike all day.

Pup of All Trades

Enzo has an impressive repertoire of tricks and is always prepared to learn something new. Some of his favorites to show off are 'backpack', 'Spin/twirl', and 'Rollover'. He can even link them together in an intricate choreography that always gets cheers from spectators.

Variety and Enrichment for a High Energy Dog

Having Rex & Roxy to call on when Enzo's mom isn't able to get out for a loop around the neighborhood has been an invaluable tool to keep him happy and relaxed. Using them as a resource can really make or break the day to day for such a high energy pup and missing a walk can be detrimental to his happiness and wellbeing. His owner is incredibly grateful to the team for always being there, even on short notice!

Super Snoozer

After a high quality Sniffari with the Rex & Roxy team, Enzo can be found catching some Z's in the nearest sun patch and is never one to miss a nap. His second favorite activity (only to Rex & Roxy walks!) is a good snooze in the sunshine and its especially adorable to watch him chase bunnies in his dreams!
