Double the Love, Double the Fun
This lovable duo has stolen our hearts! Since Brandy (mom) works a 10-hour shift as a nurse, and Andre (dad) commutes downtown multiple days each week, we get plenty of opportunities to hang out with these Dog Gone Seattle rescue pups.
Meet Bowie, the Gentle Giant

Bowie came into his family’s life in August 2020, bringing light and laughter during a tough year. At over 80 pounds, he hasn’t quite realized he’s not a lapdog, but he is committed to the snuggles. Once, he tried to become one with the couch and got stuck! Mom and Dad got him out, and chuckle at his shenanigans.

Sunshine, Snuggles & Snacks
When he’s not soaking up the sun or rolling in the grass, Bowie can often be found making friends of all shapes and sizes. He's famous for giving the best hugs and kisses, and uses his charms to walk you straight to The Barkery for a treat!

Enter Freddie, the Playful Sidekick
In 2022, and after dropping hints by wandering to the neighbor's house to play with their pup, Bowie got the little brother he always needed! Rescued just like his big brother, Freddie started out shy but has blossomed into a playful, confident pup. Whether it’s tug-of-war with anything he can get his paws on or sprinting around the backyard, Freddie is always ready for action.

Garden Goodies & Great Escapes
Freddie is also known for his high-flying backyard chases with Bowie—sometimes literally leaping over his big brother mid-game! And when he’s not running laps, or hiking around the great PNW, he’s sneaking veggies from the garden. Green beans are his favorite snack, and he’s not above counter-surfing for a few extras. This is not to say Freddie doesn't love snuggles. In fact, he demands ear scratches and head pats as part of his morning wake up routine!

The Best of Both Worlds
While Bowie lives for snuggles and sniffing adventures, Freddie thrives on activity and one-on-one attention. Together, they balance each other perfectly, bringing endless joy to their family. Their parents love seeing the Rex & Roxy updates, knowing their boys are getting exercise, enrichment, and lots of love.
Why We Love Them
Bowie and Freddie remind us of the magic of rescue pups; each with their own story, quirks, and big hearts. Whether it’s Bowie’s sunshine-soaked naps or Freddie’s veggie-stealing antics, they make every visit a highlight of our day.
